Ocean Springs beats Brandon, reaches the 7A state final

On October 12, Ocean Springs beat Brandon 3–2 in the MHSAA 7A South State title game. It was a rematch of last year’s South State match.

The Greyhounds won the fifth set 15–7. Junior Jazlyn Johnson hit the open court to close the third set, then defended a spike in the fifth. Ocean Springs, the reigning 7A champs, will face Lewisburg for the state title.
