Jacksonville teen Sanyia Randolph wins the Emerald Trail 5K

Sanyia Randolph is 15. At the 7th annual VyStar Emerald Trail Race in Jacksonville’s LaVilla neighborhood she was the first female finisher in the 5K. More than 800 runners were in the field.
She told First Coast News it felt good to finish something she had been chasing for months. Asked what she sees next, she said the Olympics — competing in the sport she likes.
